(a) The internet has enhanced in variety of ways and i think WiFi is one of the most important. Thanks to Wi-Fi, though, even though your modem still needs to be connected via wires, your computer doesn't. Devices which can use Wi-Fi technology include personal computers, video-game consoles, smartphones, digital cameras, tablet computers, digital audio players and modern printers. Wi-Fi compatible devices can connect to the Internet via a WLAN network and a wireless access point. Such an access point (or hotspot) has a range of about 20 meters (66 feet) indoors and a greater range outdoors.
(b)Being able to take the Web with us (i know i am thankful!) without the need for wires has definitely made our lives better. What other Web technologies have made my life easier and simpler. Wi-Fi provides service in private homes, businesses, as well as in public spaces at Wi-Fi hotspots set up either free-of-charge or commercially, often using a captive portal webpage for access. Organizations and businesses, such as airports, hotels, and restaurants, often provide free-use hotspots to attract customers. Enthusiasts or authorities who wish to provide services or even to promote business in selected areas sometimes provide free Wi-Fi access.
(c) Having WIFI solves problems such as work/school related issues. If you need your assignment due withing a certain time to turn in online, with wifi, you have internet available for you. you can now turn it in through your laptop and will have that availability. this also improves internet traffic when my internet is so slow.
(d) I think this innovation has really made several aspects of my life easier. Sometimes with just the internet i have now, i cant even send a message through twitter nor load an image. It is because of WiFi that helps me get my work done when i get home.
